Here’s a thought…

Knapper is still somewhat new to this enormous role in football. He’s got some very right, some very wrong,. Clearly Clement is a masterful appointment, but Manning, no person in the club thought that would happen.

Some of the signings have matured, some have been a flop.

But with him being new and untested in this very senior role, maybe, having someone like PC can mature him, mentor him, grow him as a Sporting Director.
