Josh Sargent
Not sure if this extends to Josh Sargent or not, but why do clubs feel the need to insert relegation release clauses into players contracts? Imagine last game of the season and we need a win to stay up and get a pen in the last minute with the game tied.
Josh steps up knowing if he missed it would guarantee a move away from the club with a number of clubs ready to sign him up on big wages for a vastly reduced transfer fee.
I know it’s not likely but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility.
