and he needs to play for the world cup. Tell him he's not going, stick him in the stiffs for two weeks as punishment. Then 'hopefully' sees the error of his ways. I think he is professional enough to come back from this. In a relegation scrap I'd rather we had Sarge than not.

As I said, world cup year - he needs to play, we hold all the cards. I also think it would make the club look weak selling him now after saying he won't be going this window + an.opportunity to play hardball after Nunez. We wouldn't even have time this window to reinvest the money. My humble opinion
