Why are some calling for Barden in goal today?

Surely Grimshaw, being second choice, has the right to be the cup keeper? Barden or Moulden maybe on the bench and Vlad having a day off?

If we bypass Grimshaw for the opportunity then I wonder why he’s still the second choice keeper for league games.
