I know it was the same for all Champs clubs but it makes
no sense playing four games in ten days. I mean who came up with playing at 3pm on a Sunday after New Year and a day before most people returned to work? Why was there a need to cram yesterday’s game in? Granted I may feel a bit different if we’d won but the atmosphere was dead clearly the players on both sides were knackered and the game was pretty dull. Don’t get me wrong, Stoke were the better team and deserved the win so no complaints about the result.
