The definition of "rescheduled weekend fixture" is just weird though?
They haven't been rescheduled in any normal sense. Boxing Day and New Year's day have been known for longer than the football league. What's more they have made conscious decisions to schedule games on those days.
If a Saturday game is postponed the phraseology makes sense.
Although Sky/EFL have made it seem like it is in relation to the "crown jewels rules" enforcing the Saturday blackout (which were circumvented for the opening weekend as the Premier League wasn't playing), as such I'd expect every game outside the 2.15-5pm Saturday window to be shown.
I guess it is to do with the package and EFL didn't want to sell/Sky didn't want to buy every match. I thought u had read every one outside the blackout would be shown but I was obviously wrong.
