I'm always surprised at his transition to pundit
He was reported as being someone who was able to draw quite a distinct line between his life on the pitch (at work) and outside.
Which is probably true of a lot of great keepers...
So I guess I thought he'd walk away from the game when the time came, but possibly that ability to step back from it is what has made him a good pundit.
Tbf there's quite a few of our ex players do well on that circuit
(Dean Ashton, Danny Mills, Chris Sutton, Iwan /Bellamy (here in Wales), efan was a regular too back in the day)
