Was it/wasn't it a foul?

I have only seen it once live and once on replay. Seemed to me Puyol wasn't even looking at Henry and can't help it if Henry chooses to run into his back (which looked VERY painful on his face the poor lad). After all, when players stand in the way to let a ball go off for a goal kick, why is that not considered a foul? Surely all the striker needs to do is run into the player and fall on the floor to get a free kick?
