I don’t see any evidence for that level of optimism.
Huge win today but far from comfortable or pretty. Yes we have injuries but all we are really getting is cover for Chrisene and Fisher at full back, and Sargent in terms of starting XI.
We really don’t know how good Diallo might be in his limited appearances mostly as a bloody wing back.
Kvistgaarden being fully fit and Jurasek in favour might bolster depth.
I think what we really need is for a lot of the players signed with promise to start showing it more. Clement has managed that out of some already, but we need more of it.
