Strange thing with topic is he seems more like a box to box type midfielder
He can carry a play forward and has an engine in him but he lacks the passing ability to dictate games and keep possession. I also don't think he's got much defensive ability in there so doesn't help McLean out.
Still crying out for an Oliver Skipp type I think. Someone who can protect the back four and break up attacks. Amazing considering we bought Topic, Wright and Mattson but not sure any of them can do that screening job.
