It would be unusual to employ people in the UK using a US company

unless it operates a branch model, like banks commonly do, but that's for regulatory reasons.

In any case, I didn't really mean to suggest that it wasn't possible for a US based business to employ people in the UK, rather that if src ftbl is going to continue to be US based (as it is currently) then it's not so obvious to me that it makes sense for Knapper to be shoe horned in there unless he's relocating. And maybe he would relocate, I have no idea.

I don't know much about src ftbl at all, but I would have thought they would need software engineers / stat geeks, rather than a football "expert", (term used loosely in Knapper's case).

Maybe MA's plan is a bigger overhaul of src ftbl and he's going to move it to the UK and integrate it with NCFC? Or he's going to strip out the data bank and the technology / software and bin all the people in the US and move it to the UK to create Knapper Analytics Ltd? I just assumed he probably wouldn't want to do that as if he wanted their IP only, he could likely have bought that alone rather than everything else that comes with it when buying a company.

Time will tell. Knapper moving to something else and NCFC getting a new SD would seem a good move based on his track record to date, regardless of what he does next.
