I’m so cross with the bbc.

It’s a really stupid and important lapse of judgment by their editorial team. They’ve been a few of them - as there will be with such a vast organisation. They’re right to apologies and to review how this/these happened.

But that’s what it is and all it is. The bbc is not some hotbed of leftie commie woke rebellion poisoning the mind of the nation with hippy bulls**t. It’s doing an amazing job of delivering unbiased news, an almost impossible job in today’s polarised world. A world where f**king everyone will disagree with some or even most of the things they say, and where almost all alternatives are moderately to mentally right wing.

I mean, in what world does an institution have someone like Lauren Kuenssberg or Nick Robinson presenting their absolute flagship shows and still get accused of being too left wing? How many times have they platformed Richard Tice or Farage? Do me a f**king favour. Their leadership is f**king riddled with Tory grandees ffs.

But now they’re under huge pressure, and it’s just a matter of time before Reform get enough power to effectively shut them down, removing the one unbiased voice left in the media landscape. So so f**king stupid. They have an obligation to take extra care - because they should anyway, but also because their survival is so important. Although maybe it doesn’t matter anymore, and everyone will slowly plug themselves in to GBNews and let their head be filled with tripe and hate. Like GOBB.

What’s particularly stupid is that there was absolutely no need to splice clips together as they did. Just play the f**king thing unedited, because it speaks for himself. He was evidently inciting insurrection and violence, straight out of his own mouth, live to the nation. WTF were they thinking in the cutting room?
