Surely no one serious thinks the BBC is systemically lying?

It's riven by its desire to be balanced and is the gold standard of journalism.

Obviously that doesn't mean it always gets things right and is over represented by the metropolitan liberal elite.

Every other media source comes with inherent and explicit bias. If you think bbc is bad imagine what Guardian TV would be like.
