Reading between the lines it may be he's the only one seriously interested

From a managerial background I would prefer GON as I'm more confident he might be able to get us out of this hole with the players we have. My recollection of JDT at Blackburn was that he drew a hell of a lot of games which isn't what we need.

I've also backtracked slightly on Will Still (slightly). His record - till Soton - was decent and my Saints supporting friends say he may have been unlucky as performances were better than results. Still wanted him out which given they were relegated last year is probably understandable. Will will have a point to prove beginning with keeping us up. Potentially he could be the best managerial appointment we could make. On the other hand....
