- has never been considered a failure at any club he’s managed / coached
- is immediately available
- isn’t too expensive because “wages”
- has or hasn’t got any previous ties to the club, depending
- is up and coming
- is experienced
- doesn’t like his team to fanny around at the back
- prefers to play out from the back
- understands the Championship
- has a fresh approach
- doesn’t do management speak in interviews
- doesn’t criticise the players or the supporters
- says what he thinks
