I believe we have to be resigned to the fact it’s going to get worse, including possible
relegation, before it gets better.
The silver lining is that Attanasio seems to be in it for the long haul, is willing to invest, plus he’s not in denial that he is still learning the game. He’s following a model he has successfully implemented in the business world of taking over an organisation, taking time to review its operations, and then making the necessary changes.
I’m also sure that he’s becoming aware that the excuses he’s being fed by the current club leadership is bulls**t i.e. foreign coaches don’t work in the Championship, it’s all because of injuries, and don’t worry Duffy is the messiah.
As such I’m fairly positive that he will be good for us in the long term and the current coach and executive management’s days’s are numbered, but this season on the pitch is going to continue to be an unpleasant watch.
