I can't help thinking Worthington is storing up loads of excuses from the world cup

esp with England being a bit low key

Games on a saturday in pouring rain will be blamed on the heat

Games draw 1-1 or won 1-0 will be drawn in comparison to "but look at England, they did play their best football but won, and that's what we're like"

Or Huckerby reminds me of Ronaldinho, who wasn't at his best in the group stages but will get better..................
