Is MA realising he’s been sold a pup and deciding to cut his losses. This is a stupid money pit I don’t care about enough to “invest” in, and I’m not throwing good money after bad. Turn off the taps, sell everything and get back every dollar I can. Sell every player that is vaguely sellable in Jan. Sell and lease back the ground, the training site, and any other property we have. Fly home to wait for the inevitable administration and never think about it again. If he does that now, he can probably get most of his money back.

Not saying that’s what he has in mind, but he wouldn’t be the first investor to follow this route if he did. The other option, of trying to actually turn the club around and repair the damage from a catalogue of appalling decisions, is going to be very expensive indeed.
