Done enough but not looking good
Defence looks solid but Terry is so error prone and clumsy it's painful whenever the ball goes near him. Midfielder looks like a collection of individuals and Rooney has no support.
However, did the job against Ecuador. Holland or Portugal will have no problem unless we step up two or three gears by next week.
Robinson - 7 - Solid (Lawrenson can f**k off)
Hargreaves - 7 - Another good performance
Ferdinand - 8 - Fine defensive performance
Terry - 4 - Shocking. A complete liability
Cole - 8 - Had to bail Terry out more than once
Beckham - 6 - A bit s**te really
Carrick - 7 - Did Ok but slowed the play down a bit too much on occasions
Lampard - 6 - Needs to regain form
Gerrard - 7 - Some neat stuff but some key lapses
Cole - 5 - Disappointing
Rooney - 7- Great effort but no support
One last thing. The heat was clearly a major factor and affected the game - difficult to appreciate when it looked slightly gloomy on tv.
