How would knapper keeping manning not also be admitting failure?

I keep seeing the argument you’ve presented, and I still don’t get it.

Either knapper f**ked up with manning, or he f**ked up by buying a load of s**te players. Surely he’ll be in more trouble for wasting millions on crap players than if he’s wasted a couple of million on manning?

IMO the only way knapper can save his job is by firing Manning. Exactly as Webber fired farke to hide the shortcomings in the squad he assembled.
