manager vs players

I still think people vastly overplay the managers role in a clubs success.

If we look at Wagners season where he had a ton of injuries we really struggled. when we got the players back we started winning at a steady crack and made the playoffs.

Did Wagner turn from being a s**t manger to a championship genius.....or was he just getting better players back playing....

I think deep down we all know the answer......but in times of struggle we look for someone to blame.

That puts pressure on club owners and Sporting Directors.....who often sack the manager to relieve the pressure from fans.
