I'd give Manning to the next international break

That would be 17 league and cup games and enough time to make a real judgement.

There are tentative signs that he might be starting to turn things around, based on the last two games.

With a few injured players coming back. we may be in a much better place in mid November.

If not, then time to accept it was not the right appointment.

Knapper on the other hand, is an objective failure and must be replaced if the owners are serious about us getting promoted.
