I don't think the play has been uninspired, to be honest.

Argentina, Spain and Ghana in particular have been revelations - I've really enjoyed watching Australia, too. And the knockout stages promise far more than last time, too.

Agree about the officiating, though - it's got worse than the last time. And I don't know where they've got their linesmen from (or what FIFA's told them) but the offside decisions have all been terrible!
