Should never have sacked Farke, don't even need hindsight to see that we monked up selling our best player and had a scatter gun recruitment approach that season. Sacking Farke was going all in, we should have held our nerve and reset in the Champs. Smith, Wagner and Manning are all short term appointments, JHT they brought in for a project and then ditched before the end of a season. Not to say there weren't massive defensive issues with JHT but an argument that we needed to refresh the squad, not replace the manager. Our whole strategy in terms of team building and managerial projects has lurched from one disaster to the next. I'd sack Manning today if it were up to me, I think the rot is deeper than the manager though unfortunately.
