I haven’t seen any of your games this season other than goal highlights.

I’ll say from the outset you’ve got what I consider the best striker in the division and you need to keep him.

But here’s what I said in July you’d get…

3 big Centre Backs in a static back line.

Then structure of play:

GK rolls ball short to big CB.
CB looks up. Little movement in front of him.
Plays across the back line to other CB.

He either hoofs it long or plays to a WB.
WB runs up to halfway line.
Turns around passes back to CB. Who plays it across to other CB or other WB.

Same again happens.
In the end a hoof up to striker.

Repeat this for 75 mins of boring crab like football.

On 60 mins he’ll make 3 subs.

Repeat further and be completely unable to break teams down at home week after week.

This my friends is Manning-ball.

When we said we weren’t bother he went, it wasn’t sour grapes.
We really aren’t.

I was fuming at Nigel Pearson going.
I simply shrugged at this bloke leaving.
