There is no xWow or xUnpred so can't be justified or allowed for in modern formations. But I still think we have a decent team underperforming. Go 4-3-3 with pace out wide (stronger foot outside) or a 4-2-3-1. I like the 3 at the back but these players and last season's were just sooooo slooooow in moving the ball or had no idea where to find the free man if there is one
