Overseas oldies
We of course had our own Ceefax in Norway. The daily newspapers were the only other source of Norwich city's results (i became a fan in early '89), but there was a big but in my hometown (which lies at 69 degrees North.(pun unintended): The national newspapers used to arrive by plane- and were only on sale in the afternoon at 4 or 5. I also had to wait for my Granddad to Read them first when he returned home from work.
However, i never knew City's lineup until this sports newspaper Came out, Tippebladet tips, on a friday as I recall it.
I had never heard of the Pinkun until the late 90s. And I first visited Carrow Road in 1999.
Good old days, innit??
