big danger from football regulator?
This article weirdly criticises all bar four clubs for not holding three months in expenditure in cash at all times.
At the top level the clubs get paid the majority of their income towards the end of the season so wouldn't expect them to and lower down big reliance on gate receipts, which by definition drip in.
To claim these four clubs are paragons of virtue (or ready for regulation which will be a completely different question) is bizarre. For Brighton it's obviously because they made some big sales.
As a fan I want Norwich to lose as much as they are allowed to under PSR and not hoard back cash because some academic thinks it would be prudent.
Lots of potential dangers from the regulator, particularly if it's run by people who think like this.
