You see, I still don’t think it was. I think he didn’t understand that his

work rate without the ball was as much part of the game as when in possession. He seemed to choose his games to be full of energy. When he was participating defensively and closing down the defenders and midfielders, the entire team seemed to play better than the other games when he just jogged about when he didn’t have the ball.

I don’t think he was ever not excellent with the ball at his feet. But when he had his lazy games which sadly were at least 50% especially after he established himself, and then got dropped he spat his dummy out.

Same criticism of him was heard from Bournemouth and rangers fans (along with the TikTok drama side too).

I hope for him he’s learned his lesson but not today please 😂
