Ultimately Nunez signed this contract. Even if there were other possibilities, he has still chosen to sign for them.

Some people seem to be trying to make out like the club have brought this situation on themselves. Like they've actively chosen to seek out Ipswich for a deal. Do we honestly believe they want to be put in this situation? That they don't understand the repercussions of what this deal means?

They've been put in an impossible situation and Knapper has done his best to maximise it in our favour by making them pay 3-4x his value. I don't really know what more they could have done.
