Nobody wants this, but its already evident things are going v badly wrong

There are the same obvious problems every game. Space behind the wing backs. CBs looking uncomfortable when dragged/played out wide. General lack of attacking threat. Huge gap between the striker and midfield. Attacking midfielders playing "inside" and not impacting the game at all. Every game, same thing. And its obvious, even to people without a degree in football.

There's the widely held view that at the moment we have lots of players being asked to play roles they are not suited for and dont understand. The players signed obviously make no sense given how were playing.

Then there's the comparison to last season. Last season we attacked really well, but threw that all away when with crazy mistakes. So far Manning has taken away all the good attacking play, and left us with the same frequent, fatal mistakes. It's going backwards.

I know we have won 2 of our 5 games so far. But one was a cup game against Watford reserves - they changed every player from the previous Saturday apart from one FB and the GK. And the other was Portsmouth where we were lucky to win (two good set pieces to give us the lead, and we were clinging on for the second half).

Honestly, so far its been SHIT. It really has. And no, I'm not loving it. In fact I'm hating it, and part of the way of dealing with it is to come on here and grumble like an asshole!

Manning really needs to get a performance out of us quickly, or it will turn very ugly fast. Not sure what to expect vs Blackburn, but not at all confident there's a win in us. Then there's Fat Frank's Coventry next. Wrexham home could be fun.
