The Premier League have confirmed that a recent internet first day fixture list, rumoured to be for the 2006/07 season, is incorrect.
A Premier League spokesman dismissed the reports, saying: "I can confirm that this list of games is definitely not the opening day fixtures. The only way supporters can be sure of who their club is playing is to wait until the full list is out."
Happens every bloody year doesn't it.
