Jurasek must be a fairly talented player
Otherwise we don't don't pay what has been reported as being quite a large fee for us.I'd have thought the comparison with Tzolis was an obvious one. From the outside looking in we've signed two young and 'talented' attacking players from Europe. It looks like both deals haven't worked.
For the Tzolis deal, lots of questions should have been asked about why the deal didn't work for us. Eg did his skills and attributes transfer to playing in Prem/Championship? Did he fit with our style of play? Was everything possible done to help him settle in the area? The answers to this applied to the Jurasek deal.
It could be that the Jurasek deal does work out in the end and I'm hoping that it does but it's looking more and more curious by the day.
