Pay to get a private consultation
My daughter had a similar issue and was struggling to hear for several months.
The local GP ‘couldn’t see anything’ but referred us to the N&N.
The wait was months - we paid £180 and found out she had a tumour behind her ear drum (non cancerous but fast growing, with the potential to eventually damage facial nerves and cause facial paralysis).
At this point the NHS were brilliant and she had a really quite unpleasant operation which is healing well, albeit with the need for eardrum reconstruction at a later point.
I believe the specialist is Dr Phillips at The Spire - pay privately for the peace of mind mate 👍🏻
