could be one of 2 things the players took their foot of the pedal not wanting to get injured/suspended for the next round or there may have been some kind of "gentleman's agreement" at half time. I really hope that is the reason England were defending the 6 yd box in the last 5 mins and that every clearance went straight to a swede. I fneither of these are the case then Sven needs to rethink his half time talks.
Another thing why rest stevie g to keep him from suspension only to bring him on? We had other options, Its not like the owen situation where we have crouch and a 12 year old aas backup.
All in all, in what was a almost a meaningless game, we played the best football we have so far, gradually getting better always the way to do it in WC no one wins it in the group stages
