did what was needed - some areas obviously need improvement.

Terry is a joke at international level - was at fault for a goal once again. Too slow and nowhere near clever enough to defend against the best attackers around.

Beckham's had some poor games but his delivery merits him a place. Lennon doesn't have the end product to challenge him yet.

Hargreaves good performance and probably brightest spot, broke up play well - will be essential against the best teams.

Owen injury - blessing in disguise

Desperately need Neville to regain fitness.

Lampard out, hargreaves in.
