Kvistgaarden release clause

Does anyone else just think this can't be true?

If Lens were really willing to pay £10.9m then wouldn't there be teams queuing round the block for him at £6.9m?

Either the Lens thing isn't true, we're paying more than that or the clause was more specific like an English team or one that plays in yellow. I'm going former.
