What was great about that

Other than the obvious. Is that we actually batted sensibly all day. So many times in the past we’ve just come out and slung the bat at everything regardless of the match situation, the conditions, who is bowling. Sometimes it’s worked, sometimes we just get a wicket parade. Today it felt like the judgement was excellent. When we needed to hunker down and relieve the pressure, see off the bowler, we did. When the chance to accelerate was there, we did. Proper proper performance, and no hint of people just flailing like madmen.
