My teen daughter was led down this path, first by a peer , and then actively groomed by a teacher who was captured by this idealogical nonsense.
A confused teen , doesn't need an ally - they need rational and supportive advice , not you must be trapped in the wrong body guff.

Thankfully a phase that was short and soon forgotten, and a teacher who overstepped their remit dismissed.
