It'd be interesting to see how they fare next season
Lots of discussion on their forum about how they'll bounce straight back as favourites.
Not sure they'll retain the core of their side or that the core of their side is as good as the teams (including ours) that did bounce back.
Much will depend on who they retain and who they bring in. And morale (which I think they underestimate the importance of).
What it has highlighted (once again) is that you do need real physicality throughout the team to be able to compete in the premiership.
It'll be interesting to see who we appoint as manager and what recruits/style we bring in.
Can't say any of the names suggested fill me with optimism. I do think we've got some promising youngsters, but we'll need to find some pukki/Emi like gems to be able to really kick on.
If pukki/emi were built like Ivan toney...
Over to the scouts!
