We also signed very young players and played them like Schwartau, Wright, Gordon, Crnac and McConville.

I mean, usually it’s visible from the first team squad announcement which are intended to be involved. Going beyond that is either only during an injury crisis or when you’re really rolling the dice.

I guess they didn’t rate those not in the first team squad higher than those who were in terms of development.
