has decided that his chances of playing in the World Cup next year will be enhanced by being else where.
His choice:
Stay here where he knows he is number one and will continue to score goals;
Go to USofA and hope he gets a competitive team, starts and goals;
Go to a newly promoted PL team (Leeds, lets say) and battle for starts and goals.
I don't think the money comes into it at this stage. It's all about legacy and the world cup, and remaining in the eye of the USA manager.
