not surprised

there were people on here yesterday having a go about "everyone knowing the rules at the start of the season" and when I asked them to direct me to the FA site where this rule was ststed they all disappeared as if by magic. There has NEVER been a rule that said top 4 in Prem automatically qualified for CL. People have just assumed there was because that is what has always happened - but of course we have never had a CL winner finish outside the top 4 before. Funny though that the rule explicitly states that in this situation the 4th place team misses out.
