maybe he was showing signs of fatigue or stress that made it sensible to leave him out especially after the reaction after the last game.
He’s a player we have bought in to develop so expecting a finished article ready to play every week at this stage is not likely to happen. Perhaps the manager knows better about who’s ready to perform and as some fans are turning already he decided that wouldn’t help his development.
There’s a bigger picture than just on field results that fans need to see and using everything just to be negative will probably get you that result.
Yes this hasn’t been a season where we’ve set the world on fire but if there’s progress going on off the pitch that we can see it could be setting the club up for years.
