i sometimes think i'm living in a third world country

yesterday (for an hour just before the french match), there was no cable signal in our building (i phoned up and they said it was due to 'works', it came on again after a few minutes.

And today we just had a powercut for half an hour. I can't remember the last time i had such a long powercut in england, but here it's every summer.
