Malky was sat on an adjacent table at the then fancy gastro pub on Yarmouth Road after a m

-atch where he'd scored the headed winner. This was long before we knew what we knew and as a no-nonsense, hard-heading tough-nut defender myself back then I'm now a bit ashamed to say I was too star struck to say or do anything - and this was in an era where we would hobnob at away supporters' parties at gets pics with all-sorts.

I've got a few other bumped into stories, including Bryan Gunn just the other week walking along the river by St James Mill, passing me & my Fenton and clocking the badge on my City hat so I gave him a nod of recognition.
