FAO: Tricky, Re: crowd noise only
I watched Brazil/Croatia last night with the crowd noise only (via BBC red button magic) after both the BBC1 and Five Live commentators irritated me (five mins in, no staying power) and it was FAB.
I probably won't bother with commentators for the rest of the tournament.
