The point is, this season sees a 25% increase in European Cup TV cash.
That. Is. Huge.

And, as earlydoors above highlights, not all fans are entirely aware of the worsening situation.

We can't just be happy with the Champs.
We recruit with a view to getting promoted; good players join because they see us as a stepping stone.
And if the CR crowd didn't want promotion then the atmosphere would be even worse than it already is.
