We have two electric fan heaters (they look like standalone radiators)...
we use one in both of our home offices. They warm the rooms VERY quickly. But as mentioned, it is easier to warm yourself than a room... the plug in electric blankets are great, like your very own little microclimate and we have one of those each and they are used more than the fan heaters.
