pretty rare for an employer to call the cops though
particularly over lost mobiles. I think its fair to infer that there was more to it than just a simple mistake.
However...
It amuses me no end that, after 14 years of craven fraud on obscene levels, a fuss is being made over this. Like, hello?!?!
